Dancehall Krush Groove

Leading the pack of emerging Jamaican artists who are finally injecting authentic reggae and dancehall sound into the current electrocraze movement, 77Klash is well known to any disciple of Diplo or Sinden. But not many people know that 77Klash's "Brooklyn Anthem" (which is featured on Madden '08) also took on a life of it's own as "The Craziest Riddim" and is at the epicenter of a Caribbean expatriate cultural phenomenon. Listen to the man who produced "Notorious" for Turbulence and "The Swarm" riddim explain how an underground anthem built for BK yardies and embraced by Williamsburg hipsters became a hood teenage dance craze.
